Former India coach Ravi Shastri has hailed Rishabh Pant's recovery from a severe car accident as a 'miracle'. Shastri recounted the severity of Pant's injuries, describing his condition as 'terrible' just a month after the accident.

Pant averaged 62 on his two tours of Australia and has been in incredible form since his return to the game.

“Honestly if you had seen him you would not have given him a hope in hell to play cricket again,’’ Shastri said of Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Pant who has staged a stunning revival, not simply to return to cricket but to again be the box office superstar he was before the crash.
