Police are searching for two armed men accused of stealing from people near the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill early Saturday morning.

Students at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill are calling for the coal plant located on campus to be shut down.

Two people are linked to a pair of armed robberies on Saturday morning in Chapel Hill. Officers said they responded to reports of two robberies near UNC-Chapel Hill's campus. The first incident happened on West Cameron Avenue at Granville Towers student housing.
