Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier’s Unrivaled unveiled its coaching hires Friday, and former Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon headlines a stacked lineup.

After a one-year stint as the coach of the Chicago Sky, Teresa Weatherspoon has found another coaching opportunity.

Teresa Weatherspoon and Phil Handy headline the list of coaches for the new women's pro 3x3 basketball league, Unrivaled, which launches Jan. 17.

Longtime NBA assistant coach Phil Handy and 2024 Chicago Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon are the two blockbuster names toplining a group of decorated names slated to lead the inaugural season of new hoops league Unrivaled Basketball.

The Chicago Sky's former head coach has found another coaching job. The Unrivaled League announced the six head coaches for the league's inaugural season starting in January 2025. Former Sky head coach Teresea Weatherspoon was tabbed as one of those coaches.

Basketball Hall of Fame member Teresa Weatherspoon is one of six coaches who will lead teams this winter in Unrivaled, the upcoming 3x3 women's basketball league.

The league will feature Sky forward Angel Reese, Storm guard Jewell Loyd, Mercury guard Kahleah Copper and Mercury center Brittney Griner. Thirty-two of the league's 36 players have been announced.

The total salary pool for the 36 players is more than $8 million, with players receiving equity in the league.
