PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Providence Journal’s printing facility in the capital city will close down for good next year, the publication’s parent company Gannett announced Tuesday. In a statement to 12 News, a Gannett spokesperson explained that the decision was “prompted by an insurmountable supply chain issue.”
